When: 12th October - 18th October 2015
Breezemount Electrical and Hydraulics Ltd are proud dedicated members of the Door and Hardware Federation and have been for many years. With being one of the largest federations, the DHF continue to ensure that companies are complying with the latest CE Marking legislation and other health and safety legislation. The CE mark is evidence of product safety compilance under the latest health and safety legislation which all automatic doors and shutters must have, including from the 1st of July this year all other (non-fire) industrial doors must also comply with.
This autumn, the DHF are staging a six day event to raise awareness and of the dangers of poorly fitted and maintained gates. Neil Simpson, Chairman of the Powered Gate Group explained that this week, "is all about raising public awareness of the dangers of using a poorly installed or maintained powered gate in the hope that we can prevent any further deaths or injuries."
Breezemount places gate safety at the forefront of all its installations and will continue to work with the DHF to ensure that the latest legislation is being followed by our engineers and therefore adding extra security on to the general public.
