The Vigilo 2280, security bollard is designed to restrict vehicle access, protect pedestrians and allow only authorised users to gain access to the area. The automatic steel bollards comprises of a heavy duty hydraulic unit which can handle several operations a day.

The electro hydraulic Vigilo bollard is similar to the rising Coral barrier, but the Vigilo has a 200 mm diameter retractable post and 800 mm travel version.

 Automatic Bollard Features:

• The rising automatic bollard is manufactured with a self-contained hydraulic pump and piston assembly and does not require special adjusting or calibration. 

• Manual override is allowed in the event of an emergency or power failure and there is also the option of an electro-valve and coupling, which automatically lowers the bollard in the event of a power failure. 

• Electronic control unit allows the systems to be operated in either automatic or semi-automatic mode and are easily integrated with access control and safety equipment such as traffic lights, photocells and ground loops.
