Breezemount Electrical & Hydraulics Ltd employees, alongside 60 other fundraisers participated in the ‘Big Shoot’ outdoor pursuit’s event. The event managed to raise almost £20,000.00 for Marie Curie Cancer Care, Belfast, on Saturday 12th June 2010. 

 

The outdoor field sports day took place at the “Field Of Dreams,” Bangor with activities including clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing, archery, off-road driving and golf. 

 

Harry McKee, Managing Director of Breezemount comments: “We all thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor pursuit’s challenge. Marie Curie is a very worthy cause and I am proud that Breezemount has contributed towards the outstanding £20,000.00. The money which is much needed will go towards supporting nurses to offer end of life care to terminally ill cancer patients which will enable them to have a dignified and peaceful end to their lives. We would also like to say thank you for the support and generosity of our friends and family that has helped us raise the money.” 

Marie Curie hospice has been set – up to care for terminally ill relative or loved ones in their final days. The programme aims to make sure such patients are cared for in the place of their choice.
